Child

As we wish to
maintain a healthy safe environment for all children attending the
centre, we ask parents to consider others.
If your child
is ill, or has any of the following symptoms, we would appreciate
it if you could keep your child at home.
Some common signs
and symptoms, for which you should seriously consider keeping your
child at home:
- High temperature
- Unidentified
rash
- Upset stomach
or diahorrea
- Inflamed or
sore throat
- Inflamed or
sore eyes
Medication
Any medication
you wish to have administered to your child is handed to a staff
member and your instructions are entered in the ' Medicine Book
'.
Medical attention
If medical
attention is required, we will immediately endeavour to contact
parents, or guardians. If necessary, we will contact your child's
doctor.

We will liaise with you on this matter.
Your child may
like to bring a special toy.

Things
to bring:
Clothing &
Nappies
Please label
any items of clothing with your child's name.
For under two's, we recommend two changes of clothes, and one packet
of disposable nappies. We will notify you when a further supply
of nappies is required.
Formula
Please ensure
bottles are pre-made and labelled.
Personal items
from home - cuddlies, comforters, toys
With the exception
of the settling in period, our general policy is to discourage children
bringing these to the centre.
Lockers
A locker is allocated
to children for storing their bag and personal items. Any relevant
material such as artwork and newsletters will be placed in their locker.
